Crop loan of 5 thousand 793 crore distributed to 15.27 lakh farmers : Rajasthan Govt

Principal Government Secretary Cooperative Mrs. Shreya Guha said that the Sahakar Gram Awas Yojana has been issued for the construction of houses on the farm for the farmers. Under this scheme, loans up to Rs 50 lakh will be made available to farmers in three installments by Central Cooperative Banks. Farmers who repay the loan on time will get 5 percent interest subsidy. In this way the farmer will have to pay 6 percent interest. This loan will be of long term (15 years).

   Smt. Guha was addressing the review meeting of Managing Directors of Central Cooperative Banks at Apex Bank on Monday. He said that a target of Rs 72.70 crore has been given to the banks for housing on the farm. He directed that loans should be disbursed soon to the eligible applications received from the applicants in the inflation relief camp.

   The Principal Government Secretary said that under the Rajasthan Rural Family Livelihood Loan Scheme, a loan of Rs 1500 crore is to be disbursed. So far 2.34 lakh applications have been received, he directed that the loan disbursement process should be started after discussing the applications related to Rajivika with the concerned officials. He said that ensure disposal of applications by July 31, 2023.

   Mrs. Guha said that in the year 2023-24, crop loan of Rs. 22 thousand crore is to be distributed. He said that for this, a target of Rs 11,811 crore has been given to banks for Kharif 2023 and Rs 10,189 crore for Rabi 2023-24. So far, loans worth Rs 5793 crore have been given to 15.27 lakh farmers. He instructed all the managing directors to meet the target of loan disbursement on time.

   He said that in the year 2023-24, loans will be distributed to 5 lakh new member farmers. So far 34554 new member farmers have been given loan which is very less. Therefore, no care should be taken to add maximum number of new member farmers.

   In the meeting Pax Edge MSC, Pax Computerization, Common Service Center, Amanat level in Central Cooperative Banks, Account opening under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana, funding to SHGs and on the portal of Government of India The progress of points related to making entries and timely uploading of data related to KCC on the Ensure portal was also reviewed.

     On this occasion, Registrar Cooperative Mr. Meghraj Singh Ratnu, Additional Registrar (II) Mrs. Shilpi Pandey, Managing Director Apex Bank Mr. Bhomaram, Additional Registrar (Banking) Mrs. Gunjan, Managing Director of Central Cooperative Banks, NABARD, Cooperative Department and concerned of Apex Bank Officers were present.
