A patient from Madhya Pradesh, admitted to BLK Max Hospital, Delhi, passed away within 24 hours of admission, raising serious concerns over hospital conduct following the death.
According to the complaint, the patient’s family had already deposited ₹2 lakh with the hospital. However, after the patient’s death, the hospital allegedly demanded an additional ₹1 lakh, which the family termed unjustified. It is alleged that the hospital administration withheld the deceased’s body and pressured the family to make the payment.
