A 20-year-old youth from Bhagalpur district in Bihar, Mayank, is a well-known cyber expert in the state. Mayank, also referred to as "Cyber Wala," has discovered bugs in Google and even identified a critical error on NASA’s website, preventing a potential data breach. Additionally, he hacked into the Bihar government’s E-Shiksha Kosh app to expose vulnerabilities and help improve its security.
Mayank, a resident of Budhanath in Bhagalpur, has made a name for himself in the digital world through ethical hacking. His work has left major companies, institutions, and government teams astonished. From NASA and Google to PhonePe and the Bihar government’s digital platform, he has been identifying and reporting significant flaws, enabling these organizations to fix them before malicious actors could exploit them.
Despite facing financial struggles a few years ago, where he couldn't even afford a computer, Mayank has come a long way. He has alerted these organizations about vulnerabilities in their websites that could have allowed hackers to easily access sensitive data.
Recent Work with Bihar Government
Recently, Mayank hacked into the Bihar government’s E-Shiksha Kosh app, which allowed manipulation of teacher attendance records. Instead of exploiting this flaw, he reported it to the education department, ensuring the issue was resolved.
Mayank's contributions highlight his commitment to ethical hacking and cybersecurity. Now, he hopes to receive recognition from the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government for his significant efforts in safeguarding digital platforms.
