Prof. Butola exclusionary perspective of the development process and spatial outcomes. Prof. R.B. Singh underscored the need for addressing the deep-rooted regional disparities and focus on the Aspirational Districts identified by the NITI Aayog, Government of India. Prof. Kidwai critically analysed the process of sustainability from spatial lenses and called upon the need for greater targeted policies for inclusive development. Dr. Pradhan emphasized upon synergies and trade-off between different sustainable development goals and its implication for the sustainability agenda at the global, regional, national and local level.
